LAS VEGAS, Jan. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Las Vegas Chapter of the Women of Global Change (WGC) has launched the Project L.A. County Impact Drive, a donation campaign running from January 17 to January 31, 2025. This initiative aims to provide essential resources and support to the thousands of families displaced by the devastating Los Angeles County fires.
The recent fires in Los Angeles County have caused catastrophic damage, displacing thousands, destroying hundreds of homes, and leaving entire communities in crisis. With significant property loss, widespread evacuations, and an urgent need for resources, the recovery process will require immediate and sustained collective efforts.
The Project L.A. County Impact Drive focuses on collecting new socks, undergarments (all sizes and genders), and baby supplies to meet immediate needs. Drop-off locations are available across the Las Vegas Valley, including Mariposa Cocina & Cocktails, the Urban Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Partners Incubator, Gritz Cafe, UNLV Campus, and Black Fire Innovation.
"As the Chapter President of Women of Global Change, Las Vegas Chapter, I am proud to lead our community in the Impact Drive to support those displaced by the LA fires. Our hearts go out to all affected, and we are committed to mobilizing resources and support to aid in their recovery.
