VCC producers have the experience required to prepare the 44 nominees from around the world for the show, and the patented technology to continuously push live remote video feeds on the air in less than three minutes between awards.
NEW YORK and PALISADES, N.Y. (PRWEB) November 19, 2020
The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced that it selected The Video Call Center to manage the production of video remotes across 20 countries for their 48th International Emmy® Awards.
The prestigious International Emmy Awards is scheduled to stream live on the International Academy’s website on November 23, 2020 (http://www.iemmys.tv). VCC’s Caller Cloud® service has become the go-to solution to help make this possible. The broadcast-quality video remotes enable live video connections with the nominees and hosts from anywhere in the world, without lag and at the highest possible audio and video fidelity, facilitating the upbeat experience and real-time anticipation the International Emmy awards is known for.
Bruce Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy says, “Since we cannot hold our annual Gala event this year, we decided to stream the International Emmy Awards live. VCC provides a very important link in that process.”
The International Award show will air live from New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The VCC will install five of its endpoint systems on site. These will provide the connection between the remotely located award recipients and the live control room. The VCC Caller Cloud® service offers hyper-low latency video return and IFB mix-minus enabling show hosts and award winners to interact in real-time.
For the remotes, award winners will use smartphones/laptops, standard video chat apps, and an Internet connection. VCC’s team optimizes the connection, visual appearance, audio, and other details to prepare each guest for their live appearance on air. VCC’s StageDoor™, a feature of the Caller Cloud system, makes it very easy for remote participants to join the production simply by clicking a hyperlink sent to them by VCC call producers via SMS or email.
VCC’s CEO Larry Thaler says, “While every production is different and the number of locations, guests and viewers change, we are particularly excited to partner with the International Emmy Awards production team and help them overcome even the most challenging logistics. Our VCC producers have the experience required to prepare the 44 nominees from around the world for the show, and the patented technology to continuously push live remote video feeds on the air in less than three minutes between awards. Our job is to keep the energy and anticipation high and enhance the experiences audiences tune in for.”
