NEW YORK (PRWEB) October 29, 2018
The Alumni Society and WarnerMedia are hosting the Diversity Collective Dinner on Monday, November 5, 2018. This exclusive event will be an opportunity for top diversity and inclusion leaders to share best practices and biggest challenges in a closed-door, roundtable discussion over dinner.
While some progress within D&I has been made, the Diversity Collective Dinner will allow these leaders to collaborate on how to move the needle forward even further.
“From the very first convening of our Alumni Society members, we wanted to tackle the question of how we take ‘the good words and understanding’ around D&I in corporate America and turn them into actionable results,” says Pedro A. Guerrero, CEO and cofounder of The Alumni Society. “Bringing together these executives to share their experiences and insights in D&I is a way that will help galvanize the collective effort to drive real results.”
On September 5, 2018, WarnerMedia announced its first D&I policy, which includes issuing an annual report on the company’s progress. “It is essential that our content and creative partners reflect the diversity of our society and the world around us,” the policy statement reads. “The companies of WarnerMedia have a historic and proven commitment to diversity and inclusion. But there is much more we can do, and we believe real progress can be made in the industry.”
The Diversity Collective Dinner will take place on November 5, 2018, in New York City. For more information and to inquire for your CDO to attend, email Mary Kellogg, email@example.com.
