The American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair Set to Shape the Future of Wound Care
Medical professionals from around the globe attending the Seventh Annual Meeting of the ACWHTR to learn the latest in wound care.
CHICAGO, Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair (ACWHTR) a non-profit organization committed to advancing the field of wound care through education, research, and advocacy, is holding their Seventh Meeting on October 5-6 at the Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile.
The College is spearheading the future of wound healing by offering new educational options, promoting new technologies in wound care and tissue repair, and hosting one of the largest wound care conferences available. General Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Podiatrists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Researchers, and Wound Care Specialists are encouraged to attend.
The mission of the College is to improve public health by leading the growth of a new integrated field of medicine and surgery dedicated to the practice of advanced wound healing and tissue repair with the goal of designating wound care as a board-certified medical specialty.
Accreditation for this event, in support of the improvement of patient care, has been planned and implemented by Ciné-Med and the American College of Wound Healing and Tissue Repair. Ciné-Med Inc., jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), is to provide continuing education for the healthcare.
