NEW YORK, Nov. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Anthony Horth gallery in Soho, NYC launches a group art show titled "A collaboration for conservation", the show opening event is on Nov 29th at 6.30pm and the show runs until December 20th, 2018.
This show features the work of landscape photographer Anthony Horth, large mixed media drawings of endangered animals by artist Russ Ronat and photography of the various landscapes of Brazil, the people and their daily activities and traditions by Zaida Siquiera.
Horth's photography with his Mother Earth Aqua exhibition focuses on unspoiled, beautiful landscapes from Peru, Brazil and Australia. His latest project documents remote regions of the world's waterways. Horth's sweeping landscapes capture a sense of a moment and place on the planet untouched by human activity.
Ronat's drawings and video work show the fragility of many species of endangered animals. This project focuses on bringing awareness to issues like deforestation, habitat loss, poaching and other threats that wild animals face. This work titled "Project Holocene" has been on view in zoos and museums in the US and Asia.
Siqueira researches ancestral practices and traditions in Brazil, searching for the residual influences in contemporary society. Her daily life and her artistic work shows a dedication and attention to nature. Her work can be found in the Museu da Casa Brasileira in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
It is the aim of the show to bring awareness to conservation issues and use art as a platform to inspire change.
