The Beryl Institute Opens Nominations for Patient Experience Innovation Awards
DALLAS (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- The Beryl Institute invites healthcare leaders and organizations to submit nominations for the inaugural Patient Experience (PX) Innovation Awards. PX Innovation Awards provide a platform for sharing the great work being done across the globe to improve the human experience in healthcare. The Institute seeks to honor and celebrate efforts to change cultures, implement new strategies and build true partnerships with patients and families.
PX Innovation Awards are available in four categories:
• Organizational Innovation Award – A healthcare organization dedicated to innovations that improve the human experience in healthcare
• Innovative Team Award – A team working in healthcare that developed and implemented innovative methods to improve teamwork
• Innovative Healthcare Professional Award – A healthcare professional who created or lead an innovation which resulted in positive change
• Innovative Patient/Family Advisor Award – Patient Family Advisor who lead or inspired an innovation that positively impacted the patient and family experience
“As efforts to improve the human experience in healthcare continue to evolve, we recognize the role of innovation as an essential component for creating and sustaining change. We are eager to both celebrate and share the impact that our community is making on the patient, family and staff experience through innovative thinking,” said Tiffany Christensen, CPXP, Vice President, Experience Innovation of The Beryl Institute.
Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of individuals with a deep understanding of organizing and operationalizing patient experience efforts. Panelists include patients, families, leaders and frontline healthcare professionals from across the continuum of care. All submissions are due no later than December 1, 2018. Award recipients will be recognized annually during Patient Experience Conference, with the inaugural award ceremony to be held April 3 – 5, 2019 in Dallas, TX.
