The Brain Aneurysm Foundation Launches Campaign to Celebrate 20th Anniversary
Hanover, MA (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- In 1994, The Brain Aneurysm Foundation was established as the nation’s only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysms. As they prepare to celebrate their 20th anniversary, The Brain Aneurysm Foundation has become the world’s leading source of private funding of brain aneurysm research.
In 1994, the mission of the Foundation was to provide support and educational materials to the medical community, the newly diagnosed, survivors, family members, friends, and the general public regarding the facts, treatment options, and recovery process for brain aneurysms. Today, that mission has not changed. Over the past twenty years, The Brain Aneurysm Foundation has funded close to $1,000,000 in grants, helping to further research that offers hope and support to survivors and their families. The Foundation has created approximately 75 support groups across the county and in Canada, as well as supports multiple fundraising events throughout the year. The Foundation has published educational materials in both Spanish and English, and has established September as National Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month.
As the Foundation looks to the future, it is launching a new logo and branding campaign, designed by Joshua Levi, who lost his mother to a brain aneurysm in 2012. Joshua donated his professional design and branding services in honor of his mother, providing an endless impact to help the foundation spread its important message.
The logo along with the new tagline, "Raising Awareness. Ending Fear.," will re-brand the foundation and unite the community around the fight to improve the lives of those affected by brain aneurysms.
“We embarked on a rigorous development process with Joshua, incorporating where the organization is today and our vision for the future,” said Christine Buckley, Executive Director of The Brain Aneurysm Foundation. “Our new logo is clear and easily recognizable, representing the dawn of a new day, offering hope and recognizing life. It connotes a journey, one where the Foundation will be there along the way, through the treatment process and on the road to recovery.”
“In twenty years the foundation has achieved so much – yet recognizes there is still much more to be done. We will continue to work hard and make great strides for those whose lives have been affected by brain aneurysms.
