The goal of this workshop will be to provide restaurant operator attendees with tools and insights to enable them to acquire new catering customers and build relationships that will create repeat orders. Topics to be covered include lead generation, consultative sales training, catering buyers and their identified needs, and best practice business tools and resources.

According to the 2018 Takeout, Delivery & Catering Study produced by Off Premise Insights, a division of Monkey Group, catering was a $40 billion business for the restaurant industry last year, representing about 20 percent of off-premise sales. Growth in business-to-business catering continues to outpace business-to-consumer catering sales, and the study projects that catering will grow to $56 billion over the next five years.
