Prior to joining The Chertoff Group, Anderson served as managing director and practice leader at Navigant Consulting Inc., where he led the initiative to build out their information security practice, exponentially growing the business and offering new services such as “CISO-as-a service.” Before Navigant, Anderson held several senior level positions at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he spent more than 20 years rising through the ranks from a special agent in charge to executive assistant director of the criminal, cyber, response and services branch. His top achievements include upgrading the FBI’s technology infrastructure - positioning the bureau as a global leader in complex national security, criminal and cyber investigations - as well as establishing a new, second branch within the international operations division which focuses on intelligence driven international operations, to name a few.
