The City of Augusta and Griffin and Strong P.C. Invites Local Business for a Virtual Public Hearing on the 2021 Disparity Study
AUGUSTA, Ga., March 25, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The City of Augusta, GA has engaged Griffin & Strong, P.C to conduct a Disparity Study to evaluate whether Women and Minority, Disadvantage and Airport Concession Disadvantage Business Enterprises (ACDBE) owned firms are receiving the number of contracts to be expected based upon the availability of businesses in the marketplace. In addition, the Study will also include a review and analysis of Augusta's Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) program for federal, state, and locally-funded projects and, more particularly, Augusta's contracting and subcontracting policies, procedures, and practices relative to the solicitation of, and participation by DBEs in federal, state, and locally-funded prime contracts and subcontracts.
Griffin & Strong, P.C. will host two Virtual Public Hearings on Wednesday April 21 and Thursday April 22, 2021. The online sessions will be an opportunity for the City of Augusta Businesses to speak about their experiences doing business with the City. Hearing about your experience is extremely important for this Study, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
