The Coalition For Change, Inc. Presents Virtual Panel on the Elijah Cummings Federal Employee Antidiscrimination Act at Upcoming Whistleblower Summit and Film Festival
The civil rights whistleblower group,The Coalition For Change, Inc. (C4C) will discuss a new law that includes provisions the late Representative Elijah Cummings introduced to combat discrimination and retaliation against whistleblowers.
WASHINGTON, July 20, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Earlier today, the Coalition For Change, Inc. (C4C) released statements expressing the group's excitement to present a virtual panel entitled: Addressing Discrimination in the Federal Workplace. The panel will convene at noon on July 27, 2021 as a part of the 9th Annual Whistleblower Summit and Film Festival.
During the Summit, panelists Tanya Ward Jordan, the C4C's President, and Paulette Taylor, the C4C's Civil Rights Chair, will discuss the background, purpose, and requirements of the Elijah Cummings Federal Employee Antidiscrimination Act that became law earlier this year. Notably, the C4C panelists will discuss transparency and accountability requirements the late Representative Elijah Cummings introduced "to ensure that all federal workplaces meet the standards of a model EEO program."
