The Conference Forum has announced the launch of Chief Medical Officer 360°, the first newsletter solely dedicated to the unique role of the Chief Medical Officer in the biotech industry.

The Conference Forum is pleased to announce the launch of Chief Medical Officer 360°, the first newsletter solely dedicated to the unique role of the Chief Medical Officer in the biotech industry. The newsletter will capture a wide range of perspectives on the responsibilities, problem-solving, best practices and career development of CMOs and Heads of R&D from different therapeutic areas in the US and around the world. Physician scientists and others serving in biotech will also benefit from the expertise of leaders in the community.

“Chief Medical Officers are responsible for a vast number of R&D functions and we are excited to publish a quarterly newsletter specifically for this community,” said Andrew Goldstein, Editor of Chief Medical Officer 360°.

The inaugural issue will feature the following topics: the evolving role of the CMO through IPO; incorporating the patient perspective; enterprise management; developing treatments for SARS-CoV-2; advice for R&D leaders in challenging times; and partnering effectively with CROs. The issue ends with a recap from the archive: a session from the 2017 Chief Medical Officer Summit on How R&D Leadership Can Work More Collaboratively with Investors.
