The Dragonfly Foundation Makes A House A Home By Purchasing The Hauck Heine House
CINCINNATI (PRWEB) October 01, 2018 -- The Dragonfly Foundation, dedicated to providing support to the families of pediatric cancer patients, is pleased to announce their purchase of the historic Hauck Heine House in Cincinnati’s Clifton area, a few short blocks from Hospital Row. Built in 1906, the 0.68-acre property located at 506 Oak Street, Cincinnati, OH, includes a main house (11,720 sq. ft.), a carriage house (3,082 sq. ft.), and a beautifully-wooded front yard. Dragonfly will use the property help pediatric cancer patients and their families find strength, courage, and joy.
In the short-term, Dragonfly will continue to maintain its current operations at their 6,000 sq. ft. Sycamore Township, OH facility. The Oak Street property more than doubles Dragonfly’s square footage, and has the capacity to support the organization’s continued growth.

The Board believes the house will be integral to helping Dragonfly achieve its vision of being a leader in providing the best support systems for the families of pediatric cancer patients.”
Owned by the Mayfield Clinic since 1953, the house has served patients and families for many years and has been meticulously maintained. Dragonfly plans to continue Mayfield Clinic’s commitment to serving the needs of patients and families, and will preserve for posterity the home’s original artisan finishes. While overnight stays will not be offered, we will be welcoming patients and families to the location.

Founded in 2010, The Dragonfly Foundation has experienced significant growth driven by the number of patients and families suffering from pediatric cancer. To date, Dragonfly has supported more than 4,800 Dragonflies, and five locations of four partner hospitals.
