Ten years ago, Oakland’s Trez Rek 500 released Outside the Lines, a ten-track power punch of classic rock inspired modern era songs. The new Trez Rek 500 release is titled City, a two-song EP that introduces the music of Nick Morosini, the 15-year-old wunderkind bass player, co-writer, and co-producer of the EP. Nick, a resident of Moraga and a student at Campolindo high school, is active in the local band scene playing currently with a variety of local acts outside of Trez Rek 500.

The EP, City, is available for streaming or purchase on all major online music sites including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, TikTok, Google Play/YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, MediaNet, and Instagram/Facebook. The music is bass, drums, and guitar-oriented modern classic rock, which throaty, masculine vocals as always from Carv Tefft.

Since the original Trez Rek 500 release in 2009, the two founding members of the band Carv Tefft and Tony Morosini have formed the East Bay’s favorite cover and party band, House Call (http://www.hcband.rocks) which can be seen regularly all over the Bay Area at clubs and private events.

Morosini and Tefft also played together in the 90’s, with San Francisco’s popular band, Mineral Kings. Tony Morosini has played drums with artists such as Dave Grohl, Kip Winger, and blues legend Bob Margolin.
