FORT WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) July 11, 2019
The Fort Worth IT Symposium is expected to draw over 200 IT leaders from 125+ local companies. This one-day, executive-level event is geared toward knowledge-sharing and networking for CIO's and their direct management teams. This year’s symposium will look at emerging IT trends and provide insights into innovative leadership skills.
Kicking off the day will be SVP, Chief Digital and Information Officer of Hunt Consolidated, Diane Schwartz. She is a senior IT executive with more than 20 years of experience in building and leading best in class IT teams. Diane will be presenting keynote session, “Is Leonardo da Vinci the Muse for CDIOs?” In retrospect, Da Vinci was masterful at studying science with the explicit intent of applying these learnings to perfect his art. What inspiration can we learn from the past to fuel the integration of digital and information in our roles?
After lunch Rich Gius, Greg Ericson, Bryan Tutor and Kevin Christ will be participating in an executive panel on “Becoming a One-Handed CIO.” Prominent North Texas CIO’s will discuss how they reconcile and address competing influences on the technology agenda and how they reach a “one-handed answer” to the trade-offs between inertia and the latest buzz.
The final keynote presenter is VJ Smith, Author of The Richest Man In Town. VJ will share his story about how one person’s simple act of kindness changed his entire life. VJ’s remarkable and unforgettable story will leave audience members evaluating how to improve their personal and working relationships, setting higher standards on taking care of customers and giving deeper thought on what is truly important in life.
Along with the 2 keynote sessions and executive panel, there will be 12 breakout sessions, allowing you to tailor the day to your needs. The Fort Worth IT Symposium full schedule can be viewed here.
