The Halton Commuter Bag, the World's First Travel Bag that Can be Unzipped and Hung Up for Simple Packing and Easy Access, is Now Available on Kickstarter
Eliminating the frustration of an open-concept carryall that jumbles its contents, the "Swiss Army Knife Backpack" allows travelers easy access while packing or on-the-go, designed to give travelers the confidence knowing they have everything secured in its perfect place
PROVO, Utah, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Halton Commuter Bag, the world's first designed with the ability to unzip and hang for easy access for the modern traveler and touted as the "Swiss Army Knife Backpack," is now available on Kickstarter.
Developed by the husband and wife team of Bentley and Alexia Wilson, the Halton Commuter Bag can seamlessly adapt to a variety of uses and eliminates the frustration some travelers have faced with the open-concept carryall bags on the market today that jumble-up all the inside contents.
"When traveling with a backpack, it's nearly impossible to find your keys, wallet, phone, or any other of your important items when you need them," said company co-founder Bentley Wilson. "With the Halton Commuter backpack, you can unzip your bag entirely to reveal all its contents…that are neatly organized into one of 17 compartments."
As shown in its Kickstarter launch video, the Halton Commuter Bag's patent-pending design has the unique ability to be unzipped so it can be fully laid out for easy packing and it can be hung up to reveal an efficient internal system fully outfitted with separate and organized compartments so travelers can quickly access what they need.
"That's why we call it the 'Swiss Army Knife Backpack,'" he said. "There's a massive movement today for 'one-bag-travel,' and the Halton Commuter Bag is the perfect fit for that need. Whether you are commuting into the city for work or have a quick, two-day trip scheduled, this bag is the perfect travel accessory."
The Halton Commuter Bag wears like a traditional backpack, features a clean design and is made from waterproof canvas and zippers to protect items inside the bag. It can hold up to 28 liters of travel gear.
Halton Commuter Bag features include:
- Durable waterproof canvas
- Waterproof exterior zippers
- Leather accents
- 17 compartments
- Chest and waist buckles
- Compression straps
- RFID safe pocket
- Full-length zipper
- Interior attachment system
- Interior hanging straps
- Industrial-strength stitching
Add-ons are also available, including a hip pack or cube so travelers can easily take out only the essentials they need when they head out without sacrificing functionality or comfort.
Travelers can choose the pack for smaller items or the cube for bulky items like cameras and drones. A compression/laundry bag is also available for purchase as an add-on item.
"Whether the journey is around the corner or planes and trains away, this bag can seamlessly adapt to a variety of uses," Wilson said. "It allows for easy access on-the-go, giving travelers the ability to pack quickly and with the confidence knowing that they have everything they need, packed in its perfect place."
