Iconic Nashville Hotel is Honored at 2019 Historic Hotels Annual Awards of Excellence

The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee is pleased to announce the hotel has received the coveted title of “Best City Center Historic Hotel” by the Historic Hotels of America at the 2019 Awards of Excellence. The Hermitage Hotel is one of over 300 hotels and resorts around the United States recognized for preserving and maintaining historic integrity, architecture and ambiance. The 2019 Annual Awards Ceremony and Gala took place at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina on Thursday, November 7. The award winners were announced before an audience of owners, senior management, industry leaders and representatives from the finest historic hotels around the world.

Each year, the Historic Hotels Awards of Excellence honor, encourage and recognize the most exemplary historic hotels, hoteliers and leadership practices. The Awards of Excellence are presented to those that demonstrate innovative leadership, stewardship and contribution to furthering the recognition, preservation and celebration of these preeminent properties and their histories. Award recipients are selected from nominations submitted by historic hotels, historic preservation supporters, prior award recipients and leadership of Historic Hotels of America.
