The Hershel "Woody" Williams MOH Foundation and the Bluegrass World Series to Host Charity Golf Event
The Hershel "Woody" Williams Medal of Honor Foundation (HWWMOHF), in partnership with the Bluegrass World Series will host the 1st Annual Stars and Stripes Celebrity Golf Tournament August 8, 2019.
LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Hershel "Woody" Williams Medal of Honor Foundation (HWWMOHF), in partnership with the Bluegrass World Series will host the 1st Annual Stars and Stripes Celebrity Golf Tournament August 8, 2019. This dynamic partnership was first formed in 2018 as the two organizations joined forces to present the Gold Star Family Day at the Ball Park in support of the HWWMOHF's mission of honoring, recognizing, and serving Gold Star Families and the legacy of their Loved Ones who have sacrificed their lives in the U.S. Military.
This year, in addition to the Gold Star Family Day at the Ball Park, the HWWMOHF, the Bluegrass World Series, and Chariot Run Golf Club will be hosting the Stars & Stripes Celebrity Golf Tournament benefitting the Hershel "Woody" Williams Medal of Honor Foundation. This one-of-a-kind golf event will allow golfers to be paired with Major League greats from the Bluegrass World Series as well as some of our Nation's most highly decorated Veterans, Medal of Honor recipients.

Participants and supporters of the Stars and Stripes Celebrity Golf Tournament, will have the opportunity to be a part of three days of events. These include not only golf related events, but also opportunities to experience the Blue Grass World Series first hand watching Major League baseball greats take the field.
