During Remembrance Week, educators around the state will be providing age-appropriate instruction for all their students about the Holocaust using materials created, or approved by, the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission. The Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio is honored to have been selected by the TH&GC as a recommended resource for educators and source of educational materials for use during the Holocaust Remembrance Week.

The HMMSA will be offering twenty special topic presentations during the week along with a variety of teacher workshops and resources leading up to the event. The focus of the lectures will be on instilling in the students, educators, and general audience Elie Wiesel’s message that “the opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.”

HMMSA will also be providing 2 prerecorded video presentations each day (January 25-29, 2021) on the website that will be available on-demand.
