Reinforcing its dedication to bringing global financial sector experts together to improve their collective efforts to prevent, detect and report human trafficking and other crimes committed against vulnerable populations, The Knoble announced the addition of Barry Koch, former Commissioner on the Financial Sector Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking (the Liechtenstein Initiative), to its Board of Directors.
ATLANTA, Oct. 13, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Koch is internationally recognized as an anti-money laundering expert and trailblazer in global efforts to combat human trafficking, and he brings more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, where he developed, implemented, and managed compliance programs and related technology platforms.
"Barry's expertise in risk and compliance matters across the financial and legal spectrum is well known. Perhaps more impressive, however, is his passion to utilize that knowledge in ways that have significantly benefited the battle against human trafficking," said Shawn Holtzclaw, Executive Director, The Knoble. "He embodies the spirit of The Knoble and we're incredibly excited to have him join our board, where his invaluable experience will advance all our efforts domestically and abroad."
