ST. PAUL, Minn., Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Learning House, a leading academic program manager that offers a full suite of education services and solutions to help partners and students thrive in a competitive higher education landscape, announced today that it has extended its contract with Concordia University St. Paul (CSP). The new partnership will go through 2025, resulting in further expansion of the existing online programs, plus the launch of future programs in market-driven areas such as healthcare and social services.
In the past six years, Learning House has supported the school's student lifecycle services, including marketing, enrollment, and retention, driving significant growth and a 55 percent increase in online enrollment, helping over 2,700 online students graduate.
"Learning House's innovative marketing tactics have helped us extend our reach in the region through focusing on community colleges, healthcare systems, and local businesses, resulting in hundreds of students selecting CSP as their school of choice," said Eric LaMott, provost and COO of Concordia University. "While our partnership has resulted in the incredible growth of our online student population, these numbers are only a part of the story. It's the amazing student and faculty experience that we are able to provide through our work with Learning House, and the collaboration amongst our teams that have helped make our collaboration such a success."
CSP originally partnered with Learning House in 2012 with the goal of growing their online programming and student services. Since then, The Learning House has helped to launch and manage 48 online undergraduate and graduate programs. These programs are designed to be affordable, accessible, and relevant to modern career paths. Of note, Learning House worked with CSP's faculty to build and launch two new undergraduate programs, an RN to BSN and the BS in Computer Science in 2014, which are fast-growing and currently ranked as the school's 5th and 6th largest programs respectively.
"We have watched CSP grow due to the success of our collaboration and we are thrilled to both extend and broaden our relationship with one of our longest-standing partners," said Todd Zipper, President and CEO of Learning House. "In this next phase, we're looking forward to adding Learning House's curriculum and Instructional Design services to help CSP drive an even better course, faculty and student experience and to achieve their goal of serving 10,000 total students overall."
CSP's rapidly expanding student body represents all 50 states and 26 countries. With this new contract extension, over the next 12 years, Learning House will help CSP continue this growth trajectory by developing new online degree programs that are aligned with student expectations and real-world career responsibilities.
