The Legislative Summit Welcomes Multimedia Star Jackeline Cacho as the Presenter for the Opening Ceremony in Washington, DC.

The recognized International Award Winning journalist, producer and Author Jackeline Cacho will be the Master of Ceremonies of the Legislative Summit Co-Hosted by The Latino Coalition and Job Creators Network on March 6, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Convening small-business owners, business influencers and elected officials from across the country, the TLC Legislative Summit is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to build their professional network while advocating for the public policies that impact them most. The event brings together hundreds of business leaders, executives and elected officials to discuss important business and political matters, in this highly important election year.

At the Opening Ceremony we will have the honor of listening to Jackeline Cacho as the Master of Ceremonies. She is the creator of the Edutainment Movement in the United States, as well as being an author, host and producer of the Emmy nominated national TV show “Jackeline Cacho Presenta Triunfo Latino.”

For Jackeline Cacho and her national TV program, this will be the fourth year supporting The Latino Coalition Organization, saying: “I would like to thank the Organization and its president Héctor Barreto for his leadership and their constant work. Thank you for putting your trust in me by allowing me to be Master of Ceremonies in such an important year for our Latino community. It is also a very important year for our TV program, which bonds Latino community leaders across this nation together, always showcasing the economic values of our community. With various recognized leaders taking party, and with Cacho in attendance, the main topic will be for the creation and preservation of the best possible business environments for entrepreneurs to be the duty and responsibility of our elected and appointed officials. While election years present their own opportunities and challenges for politicians, small-business owners expect that their section of the economy will be a priority.

The event will last an entire day, with fantastic sessions featuring business leader panels, culminating in a huge celebration of our culture and our growing community’s economic might. The Closing Ceremony will be from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Join the TLC family for a celebration of Hispanic power and economic vitality.

Latina journalist and multimedia entrepreneur Jackeline Cacho is the hugely successful producer of the fastest growing independent Spanish TV show in the country; “Jackeline Cacho Presenta Triunfo Latino.” It airs every Sunday on the VME TV network and this year she is celebrating her seventh season on air. As the successful creator of the Edutainment Movement in Spanish programming, Cacho is also a great advocate of women’s rights, while also being a humanitarian journalist who supports a diverse range of social interest causes. She has recently worked with the United Nations (UN) and the European Union (EU) as an ambassador for “The Spotlight Initiative,” aiming to eradicate domestic violence and femicides in Latin America.

She also took part as a guest at the International Women Leaders Conference in Israel, being recognized for her television and social work.

Throughout the summer of 2020 the Peruvian journalist will be touring and exhibiting at various national and international events premiering her literary debut as the author of “Mi Mochila Emocional” (My Emotional Backpack).
It is an autobiography recounting her seven-year battle with anxiety and panic attacks. She has produced a practical guide for those fighting this silent enemy, sharing her personal struggles, as she became one of the most recognized journalists in America.

Among the prizes and recognitions she has received are:
In 2019 “Entrepreneur of the Month” award from the Latinas in Business Organization, in New Jersey.

In 2018, she was invited to be the presenter of a United Nations (ONU) initiative in New York. She supported the launch of "The Spotlight Initiative" from the United Nations and the European Union.

In 2018, Spokesperson for “The Spotlight Initiative” to promote the initiative supported by the United Nations and the European Union in Latin America.

In 2017, she was a speaker at the International Women Leadership conference held in Israel, where she also received an award for her leadership qualities.

In 2016, she was named “Woman of the Year in Media” presented to her by US Congress, from Congresswoman Loretta Sánchez.
In 2014, she was named "Outstanding Woman of the Year” by the Spanish-language newspaper "La Opinión" in honor of her efforts in the field of education and for inspiring the Latin community.

In 2010, she was named “One of the most influential Latinas” by Latino Leader Magazine.
