The Lodge at Blue Sky Recognized Among Best of The Best

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection, the contemporary resort celebrating luxury with wild abandon, has been named to the Travel + Leisure 2020 It List, the prestigious selection of the best new and renovated hotels in the world. The 15th annual list as determined by Travel + Leisure editors is the culmination of months of research on hundreds of new and renovated hotels around the world. The Lodge at Blue Sky is joined on the list by sister resort Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, which recently opened on the Kohala Coast of the Island of Hawai’i.

Situated on 3,500 pristine acres, The Lodge opened its doors in June 2019, introducing a modern interpretation of mountain resort that celebrates authentic western adventure with luxurious and architecturally striking, yet warm and inviting guest spaces, and boundless year-round outdoor explorations that honor the land and Utah’s rich heritage.

“With so many inspiring new hotels to choose from around the world, we are truly honored to be recognized as one of the very best by the highly regarded editors of Travel + Leisure,” said Joe Ogdie, General Manager, The Lodge at Blue Sky. “We are especially thankful to our dedicated team, who take care of each and every guest as they share their passion for Blue Sky’s spectacular natural surroundings and spirit of adventure."

The Lodge at Blue Sky is a new resort built at Blue Sky Utah, a 3,500-acre ranch created by local developer Mike Phillips and situated in the scenic Wasatch Range, inviting guests to slow down and forge meaningful connections with the land, animals and people that call Blue Sky home.

Situated in the Wasatch mountains surrounded by dramatic soaring peaks, high alpine fields, lush hillsides and a spring-fed creek, the 46-room Lodge at Blue Sky invites guests to reconnect with the natural environment through the understated elegance of organic architecture that mirrors the majesty of the land, and a collection of immersive outdoor adventures from heli-skiing to fly fishing and horseback riding. The resort offers contemporary mountain cuisine at signature restaurant, YUTA, helmed by James Beard Award-Winning Executive Chef Galen Zamarra, who sources storied, sustainable ingredients from an onsite organic farm; restorative treatments at the Edge Spa; and exclusive to Blue Sky experiential activities including learning the artisanal whiskey process at High West Whiskey Distillery and meeting the animals at the on-site horse rescue sanctuary.
