The Music Room Named to 2014 Top 100 Dealer List

At The Music Room in Palatine, Ill., more than 30 instructors teach individual lessons in a variety of instruments utilizing 10 state-of-the-art sound-proof studios. Group classes, where children and adults can grow both their skill and love of music, are held in the store’s expansive 4,000-foot ground-floor space.
As a retail music store, The Music Room carries an extensive line of carefully selected products including a wide range of acoustic and electric guitars, amps, accessories and sheet music. “A knowledgeable staff and customer service make the difference,” advised Cook. “Other retailers charge for guitar set-up. At The Music Room, every single guitar on our showroom floor is ready to play.”
Bringing music to the community is also incredibly important to the retailer. Since 2005, through the company’s Gear Shift program, more than 200 unwanted instruments have been repaired and donated for use by disadvantaged adults and students in the local community.
The Music Room will be recognized as a Top 100 Dealer at an event to be held July 18 in Nashville, Tenn. It will compete for additional honors within specific categories.
