This year’s theme is Rescued by the 80’s. This is a celebration of love for animal rescue and helps save animals lives, and benefits The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals and their 150 participating shelters and rescue groups.
The show also features the Golden Paw awards, a celebration of people and pets that have made a difference.
Celebrities, models and rescues of all kinds will be strutting their stuff on the runway. The show kicks off Westminster Weekend, Fashion Week & Valentine’s Day with the largest pet fashion and animal rescue event in the United States. Chairman, Gregg Oehler invites the media to cover the event of the season, which is the Super Bowl and Olympics of fashion and rescue. The show averages 600-800 people in attendance, with over 100 media covering the event. This event will be filmed for TV, and features three runway shows directed by world renowned pet fashion designer and the shows Co-Chair and creative director Ada Nieves. Must see top pet fashion designers from across the United States showcasing their non-fabric couture collections!
The 12th anniversary show kicks off at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 11th, 2016, at the Hotel Pennsylvania, which benefits The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals and their 150 participating shelters and rescue groups.
