Reporting to QHS President & CEO Arthur A. Ushijima, the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer will have operating responsibility for the Queen’s Medical Center Punchbowl and West O’ahu sites, and operations oversight of all current and future sites. Partnering with Mr. Ushijima, members of System, medical staff, and Board leadership, this executive will be integral to the growth of the QHS integrated system of care.
The successful candidate will have a track record of effectively leading the operations of an integrated tertiary/quaternary medical center with mature teaching programs as well as experience working with university-affiliated graduate medical education programs. He/she will have an advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Medicine, and ten or more years of senior leadership experience, preferably as a COO or CEO in a healthcare system.
