The Rogers Foundation and Kentucky Wesleyan College to Award Prestigious Scholarships
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) October 01, 2015 -- The Rogers Foundation has joined forces with Kentucky Wesleyan College to award over $10 million in scholarships over the next decade to college-bound residents of Southern Nevada.
The Rogers' Fellows Scholarship will be offered to graduating seniors of the Clark County School District, who wish to attend Kentucky Wesleyan. The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition, fees and room and board. Each award recipient will receive the scholarship for up to four full years of study. The Rogers Foundation will offer at least 12 Rogers’ Fellows Scholarships annually.

We want that for as many young Nevadans as possible.”
Kentucky Wesleyan offers 30 majors and 12 pre-professional programs and has a student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1. Academics are divided into four divisions: Fine Arts & Humanities, Natural Sciences & Mathematics, Professional Studies, and Social Sciences. Kentucky Wesleyan is listed in the 2016 Princeton Review “Best of the Southeast” colleges. Notably, the college is also highly ranked in the recent U.S. News & World Report survey of colleges and universities.

The Rogers Foundation, a 501(c)(3), public educational non-profit, whose motto is “ transforming lives through arts and education,” provides scholarships and grants to promote innovation and opportunities in arts and education for children and students throughout Southern Nevada. The Foundation was established in 2013 by the late philanthropist James E. Rogers, a Kentucky-born, long-time Las Vegan and his wife, education advocate Beverly Rogers.
The Rogers' Fellows applicants must first apply to Kentucky Wesleyan College and be accepted to be eligible for scholarships. Awarded funds will be distributed to students through the Kentucky Wesleyan College Financial Aid Department.
