The Sea Pines Resort has unveiled a new long-term dockage program for Harbour Town Yacht Basin, its full-service, award-winning marina on Hilton Head Island. For the first time in nearly 30 years the marina is accepting a limited number of 6- and 12-month leases, according to Harbourmaster Nancy Cappelmann.

Boaters who sign long-term leases will enjoy the marina’s facilities and services, as well as full access to the resort’s accommodations and amenities, including special rates on golf, complimentary tennis at The Sea Pines Racquet Club, and use of the Harbour Town Pool and Fitness Center. The Harbour Town Yacht Basin was recent recognized as one of the best small marinas in the country by Marinalife, a quarterly travel and lifestyle publication and concierge service for the yachting community.

The world-class resort is home to the top three golf courses on Hilton Head Island, two of them designed by the legendary Pete Dye – Harbour Town Golf Links, host to the PGA TOUR’s annual RBC Heritage tournament, and Heron Point. The Davis Love III-designed Atlantic Dunes layout opened in 2016.

Home to 100 slips, Harbour Town Yacht Basin underwent a recent renovation and now features a new covered pier, said Cappelmann, in her 30th year as the resort’s Harbourmaster. She added that earlier this year the marina also completed its first dredging in five years.

The Harbour Town Yacht Basin offers watersports, fishing charters, and sight-seeing cruises, plus a diverse selection of restaurants and live, family-friendly entertainment. Located at 149 Lighthouse Road on Hilton Head Island, it is open 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. through October, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. November through March.
