Wheaton, Illinois, lawyer Eric Telander has extensive experience in criminal law. He began his career in 2010 as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s office. Upon leaving the office in 2013, he received an award for Outstanding Service to the Office of the State's Attorney and the Citizens of DuPage County.
Attorney Telander ran his own practice in Chicago from 2013 to 2014, primarily focusing on criminal defense. In 2014, he became a partner at Telander and Telander Attorneys and Counselors at Law, where he practiced until joining The Stogsdill Law Firm, P.C., at the beginning of 2019.
Telander has defended clients across Illinois in criminal cases ranging from traffic tickets to serious felonies. He has been involved in many high-profile cases as part of his practice.
Telander received a bachelor’s degree in tourism development and management from Arizona State University in 2005 and a juris doctor from Western Michigan University in 2009. He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
In his spare time, Attorney Telander enjoys traveling and playing sports. He is an active volunteer with the American Field Service and RefugeeOne Organization.
