Considered one of the most prestigious business schools in the world, Stanford GSB was founded in 1925 and boasts notable alumni including Phil Knight, Charles Schwab, Penny Pritzker, Mary Barra, and Jeffrey Skoll, among many others. It is highly selective admitting only 6% of those who apply and to each applicant, the university poses the question, “What Matters Most to You, and Why?” While graduates go on to pursue ambitions across a wide range of domains, many select the fields of finance and investing.

Across top firms such as BlackRock, Lazard, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, PIMCO, TPG, General Atlantic, and many others, Stanford GSB alumni demonstrate a commitment to bold leadership while keeping a keen eye toward creating a brighter future through innovation, diversity, and collaboration. Awardees were selected for the breadth of their accomplishments in areas such as asset management, private equity, investment banking, venture capital, and other areas. They were nominated and evaluated based on sustained career performance and milestones achieved, demonstrated leadership, and reputational standing in the industry and broader business community, among other factors.
