The University of Mississippi Deploys Terra Dotta Agreements Solution as Part of Campus-Wide International Programs Initiative
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (PRWEB) April 03, 2019 -- Reflecting higher education institutions’ increasing needs for enterprise-wide international engagement solutions, Terra Dotta today announced that the University of Mississippi has deployed its Agreements Management solution as part of a campus-wide international programs initiative.
Terra Dotta’s Agreements Management solution automates the end-to-end process for higher education international agreement proposals, approvals and renewals. Generating significant time and cost savings, the solution maps all existing global engagement activities so teams can easily identify opportunities for new or improved agreements. The solution also monitors active partnership status and publicizes all agreement activity for cross-campus engagement.
“Adding Agreements Management for our enterprise-wide Terra Dotta deployment allows us to expand the effectiveness and opportunities of our study abroad and international student services programs,” said Blair McElroy, J.D., Senior International Officer, Director of Study Abroad, University of Mississippi. “With the solution in place, we can now centrally manage our study abroad exchange partnerships, which helps our campus better understand the nature of current programs and invite new global partnerships through our proposal process.”
In addition to Agreements Management, the University of Mississippi uses Terra Dotta Study Abroad to manage its campus-wide study abroad application and enrollment process and AlertTraveler to reduce travel risk for nearly 700 Ole Miss students who study abroad each year. The university also uses Terra Dotta International Student Services to automate the application, onboarding and compliance process for nearly 900 international students annually.
“Terra Dotta has made it easy for our team to communicate with students, create questionnaires to gather information, and pull the information we need for reporting. And the AlertTraveler mobile app gives us peace of mind that students have access to locally-relevant information on their phones and that we can reach them should a crisis overseas occur in their region of study,” added McElroy.
The university also hosts approximately 200 internationally-based exchange / study abroad students per year, all of whom apply to participate in the program through the Terra Dotta solution.
“We are thrilled to see the University of Mississippi’s Office of Global Engagement realizing the benefits of a comprehensive enterprise-wide approach to study abroad and international student programs,” said Brandon Lee, CEO of Terra Dotta. “And incorporating the functionality of Agreements Management has enabled them to strengthen and expand their international program partnerships across the world.”
