NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Webster, the luxury multi-brand retailer, announced today that their new flagship opening in Los Angeles will be designed by the acclaimed architect Sir David Adjaye OBE, his first project in California.
The 11,000 square feet pink concrete storefront will be located on the corner of Beverly Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard as a part of the newly reimagined Beverly Center. The Webster LA will be home to over 100 brands for men, women, accessories, fine jewelry, children and the newly launched home collection. This will be the retailer's seventh location in the United States.
Laure Heriard Dubreuil, Founder and Creative Director commented: "It is such an honor to work with David, I have been a fan of his work for such a long time. To have him bring The Webster LA to life is an absolute dream! Each one of our locations has its own identity from the design of the store down to the creatively curated selection of products that furnish the rails and shelves. David truly captured the essence of The Webster DNA and projected it into the future with this new beautiful iteration of The Webster! I am so thrilled to embark upon this new journey here in Los Angeles."
In true The Webster fashion, the store will make its presence in Los Angeles known with a series of exclusive products and exciting activations from the moment the doors open. "Working with Laure and The Webster was a really unique client experience. She gave us a lot of freedom and was very trusting throughout the process which yielded a distinctive form that she can be free with to re-sculpt for various collections or new art programming." Says David Adjaye
"David Adjaye is widely considered one of today's most influential and respected architects," said William S. Taubman, chief operating officer, Taubman. "His vision for The Webster at Beverly Center will undoubtedly create an iconic new corner in LA, and a wonderful shopper environment for this special luxury destination."
