The Westin Nova Scotian Launches Roy-al Baby Contest
Halifax, Nova Scotia (PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- The Westin Nova Scotian launches their Roy-al Baby Contest in anticipation of the arrival of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first born. The contest will take place until the announcement of the Royal Baby.
“Everyone is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Royal Baby and we thought this was an exciting way to share in the anticipation,” Director of Sales & Marketing, Glenn Bowie. “The Royal Family has made many visits to the Nova Scotian in the hotel’s history. This is a fun way to show our support in the arrival of the Windsor’s baby.”
The Halifax contest starts on Wednesday July 17, 2013 and will run until the baby is born. Roy’s Lounge, located in the downtown Halifax hotel, will be offering two drinks in their Roy-al Baby Contest; one pink and one blue.
Guests who purchase either the Little Princess or the Prince Charming will have the opportunity to vote on whether the Royal Baby will be a boy or a girl. Once the baby is born, the Halifax hotel will draw a ballot and the winner will receive a one night stay and a $100 food & beverage credit within in the hotel.
The Westin Nova Scotian previously announced the name of their hotel lobby bar, Roy’s Lounge, in honour of current long-time bartender, Roy Clorey. Roy has been serving in the numerous Halifax restaurants at the Nova Scotian for 65 years. With inspiration from the lounge and the royal couple, the Westin Nova Scotian named the contest Roy-al Baby Contest.
