The Wise Marketer has announced the initial group of presenters for its fourth annual Loyalty Academy Conference. On March 6-7, 2019 senior marketers and executives will gather with loyalty marketers and practitioners, at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to hear from brands that are “Winning with their Customers by focusing on the Changes that Matter,” and to discuss with industry experts how to decided what changes need to be made to their own customer strategies.
“Investing efforts and resources on change that is merely for the sake of change is a path we all know to avoid,” commented Mike Capizzi, Dean of the Loyalty Academy, “Yet we are hearing from some loyalty marketers that it’s a real challenge to prioritize all of the change agents they are facing. The intent of this year’s conference is to learn from those that have focused their efforts to change elements to their customer strategy and programs that matter most to customers and have resulted in wins.”
Some of the featured speakers for this one-day conference include:
- Bob Welch, SVP Customer Communications 84.51 and Kroger Media Services & Lifecycle Marketing, will outline how Kroger’s customers benefit from the grocers focus on enhancing technology and being data-centric,
- Rachel MacQueen, VP Marketing and Jane Moran, VP Analytics for AIR MILES Reward Program
- Barry Kirk, VP of Loyalty Strategy for Maritz Loyalty will lead a panel discussion focusing on why consumer purchase decisions have shifted and how customer programs should then change,

“There are very few opportunities for individuals who are dedicated to the principles of loyalty, whether client-side or practitioner, to come together in a non-commercialized environment for the purpose of learning from our shared experiences,” noted Barry Kirk, VP of Loyalty Strategy for Maritz Loyalty, “We may not all share exactly the same perspective or approach, but we do share a common advocacy for the influence that the loyalty experience has in driving positive benefits to brands and their customers.”
Bill Hanifin, CEO Wise Marketer Group added, “We’ve designed this conference with the purpose of creating a forum for loyalty industry experts and marketing executives to learn directly from one another by sharing our collective experiences and insights.
