This new and exciting approach to the classic RTS gaming genre introduces new and intuitive game mechanics that offer a compelling and immersive gameplay that can only exist in VR. Final Assault is an action packed, WWII themed RTS allowing the player to choose between US or German armies. Players tower over the battlefield as war rages around them in 360 degrees. Take command of jeeps, tanks, and artillery in massive ground battles as the skies erupt in bullets, flak and dynamic dog fights. Execute air strikes and massive bombing runs as you advance your troops towards enemy territory, destroying everything in your path. The player controls their units by drawing paths for precise, direct combat while managing their moba style creep lanes for added support. Strategic decisions have consequences that require quick thinking and fast VR reflexes. With incredibly detailed environments and maps, players are even more fully immersed into the world of Virtual Reality.

Final Assault also revolves around the PVP community. It offers cross-platform action between the Oculus and HTC headsets with a goal of adding other comparable headsets throughout the year. Players can match up against other players using local or global servers. "Our challenge from the beginning is making sure we have a user base that can populate the PVP que," says Daubert. "With that in mind we have made PVP accessible throughout the game modes at anytime to minimize wait times for a matchup to happen."
In early access, Final Assault offers all PVP maps and divisions, along with early stages of the story and skirmish campaigns. Other systems will come on line as the game gets closer to its launch date in April.
