BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- theDifference, a specialized facilitation, data + design company, co-designed and delivered the World Bank Group's Investor Forum on the eve of the G20 Summit. The Forum convened CEO's of the top global institutional investors, select G20 Heads of State and Ministers of Finance, regulators, and global development finance institutions to discuss ways to mobilize private capital to meet the world's development challenges.
Key public sector leaders at the Forum included President of Argentina Maurice Macri, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Deputy Prime Minister of Japan Taro Aso, President of the World Bank Group Jim Yong Kim, and International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated, "World leaders must finally realize and accept the extent to which globalization has become a force in itself. The nation's states no longer hold all of the levers that impact the well-being of their citizens or enable building the future for their citizens. We need your help to achieve these goals."
theDifference partners Tom Kehner, Elise Hufano, David Roberts, and Brandon Klein guided over 120 participants, including Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan and Overseas Private Investment Corporation CEO Ray Washburne, to enable alignment on priorities for significantly increasing the flow of capital toward long-term sustainable investments in G20 markets and around the world.
To achieve the Forum's objectives, theDifference worked for 3+ months with World Bank Group to co-design the Forum using :
+ Data science and artificial intelligence to create patterns of interaction to improve connections and outputs
+ Design thinking to increase comprehension, focus discussion, and drive alignment
+ Coaching tactics for organizers and speakers to improve the experience and outcomes
