Dan Murty, of The Platinum Group, Realtors, is proud to announce The Murty Group’s 2nd Annual Care and Share Food Drive. Non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Colorado Springs Care and Share Food Bank, can be dropped off at The Platinum Group office, 6760 Corporate Drive, Suite 300, Colorado Springs, from November 27 to December 12. Those wanting to donate can also call (719) 536-4390 to arrange a pick-up on December 12.
“It feels great to be able to give back, especially during the holiday season. We’re not just all about real estate; like our clients, we are residents of Colorado Springs,” said Dan, who comprises two-thirds of The Murty Group with his son, Graham. “We have a vested interest in staying involved in our community on a personal level.”
Last year, The Murty Group collected 127 pounds of food and $150 for the Colorado Springs Care and Share. As they did before, this year The Murty Group will again match any donations received. “Our goal this year is to at least double what we collected last year for the Care and Share,” added Graham.
Care and Share has one belief: No one should go hungry. Its core purpose is to bridge the gap between hunger and abundance, and its mission is to provide food, partnering opportunities and education to combat hunger and food insecurity in Southern Colorado communities.
