Thermex-Thermatron Systems, former COO, Greg Trim, will take over as President and CEO.
LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 26, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Thermex-Thermatron Systems, LLC ("Thermex"), a Druid Capital Partners portfolio company, today announces that former Chief Operating Officer, Greg Trim, will become the President and Chief Executive Officer on July 1st. This selection is part of a key leadership succession plan first initiated by the Thermex Board more than a year ago. Ray Lund, who has served as the President and CEO since 2006, will be stepping down at the end of June 2023.
Additionally, Mr. Trim is set to join the Thermex Board of Directors. Greg holds an Electrical Engineering Technology degree from Purdue University, and an MBA from the Indiana Institute of Technology. Thermex welcomes Mr. Trim's 25 years of insight into the field of engineering, along with his depth of product development knowledge, product management, and team leadership.
For over eight decades, Thermex has provided a range of thermal solutions to its customers across the globe, primarily through the manufacturing and application of powerful industrial Radio Frequency ("RF") welding, sealing, and press equipment, and industrial Microwave ("MW") systems, facilitating safe and effective production for a variety of industries ranging from Automotive to Healthcare.
In September 2022, Mr. Trim was successfully targeted for the role of Thermex's COO; bringing with him a perceptive understanding of leadership and a strong technical acumen to oversee Engineering and Production throughout the company. Lund recognized Trim's potential to strengthen Thermex's next chapter of growth in the industrial manufacturing sector. Today, Lund passes the torch on to Trim, leaving Thermex in a position to capitalize on their reputation as a pioneer and leader in the market.
