Third Rail Art partners with Akumal Arts Festival in Mexico to immortalize the 2022 edition with NFT-4-GOOD, an NFT drop benefitting the Akumal Cultural Foundation.

Third Rail Art is inaugurating their street-art focused NFT platform with NFT-4-GOOD which aims to raise money for the Akumal Cultural Foundation.
Third Rail Art's inaugural drop with Akumal Arts Fest opened to Early Access on April 4th, and to the general public on April 8th, immortalizing 18 murals from the event's fifth edition in January 2022, where nearly 100 international artists of all styles and backgrounds congregated in the pueblo to teach workshops and paint its stucco walls with fresh perspectives.
Collectors have the opportunity to own an ephemeral work of street art that will inevitably be painted over less than a year from now. Each of the 18 featured editions are a 1/10 NFT for sale coming to life with animations crafted from collaborations between every artist and Cryptic Gallery. Minted using Polygon blockchain, NFT-4-GOOD is currently available for purchase in fiat currency using the ultra-accessible platform, BEASY, meant to open this opportunity up to the widest possible audience of supporters.
85% of the proceeds from NFT-4-GOOD will be donated to the Akumal Cultural Foundation to fund future editions of the art fest and support the equitable growth of the pueblo amongst mega-developments encroaching from nearby Tulum and Playa del Carmen. The Akumal Cultural Foundation is dedicated to a vital well-rounded Akumal, protecting the area's electrifying landscape and wonderful residents. Their focus is the young people in Akumal: the kids and their families.
