Third Annual Arouet Foundation Golf Tournament to be Held November 6, 2018
On Tuesday, November 6th, the Arouet Foundation will hold its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful Legacy Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona.
PHOENIX, October 29, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Golfers are invited to tee off to empower women, innovate the workforce and better the community, all in support of the Arouet Foundation. On Tuesday, November 6th, the Arouet Foundation will hold its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful Legacy Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona. All of the proceeds from the tournament will go toward helping currently- and formerly-incarcerated women receive the personal and professional skills necessary to gain a second chance at life.
The Arouet Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization building an innovative, holistic program that addresses the needs of women re-entering into society and ensures their transition is successful. Arouet does this by providing best-in-class training, education, skill development and mentorship programs designed to empower women, modernize the workforce and erase the stigma of incarceration by offering educational opportunities, life-skills training, workplace readiness instruction and career connections. Through its efforts, the Arouet Foundation significantly reduces recidivism rates from the national average of between 50 and 75 percent to a mere 6.1 percent. To date, more than 800 women have graduated from the program.
The funds raised at the tournament will directly support the Arouet Foundation's "Transforming Our PossibilitieS" (T.O.P.S.) program, which provides both professional skills training as well as programs geared towards personal growth and awareness.
