Thomas Holden Joins Greenberg Traurig as Of Counsel in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO – (PRWEB) September 22, 2016 -- Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added insurance coverage attorney Thomas Holden as of counsel to its Litigation Practice in the firm’s expanding San Francisco office. Holden’s addition follows the firm’s hire earlier this month, in Philadelphia, of Joel Eads, a litigation shareholder who also focuses on Insurance Coverage. Holden and Eads previously worked together at Trenk, Dipasquale, Della Fera & Sodono, PC, both as partners.
“We are pleased to be able to offer clients coast to coast continued growth in our Litigation Practice, particularly in the area of insurance coverage,” said Michael Lehr, Regional Operating Shareholder resident in the Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office. “Thomas and Joel are excellent additions to our firm and bring a unique skillset to both our clients and the firm.”
“Greenberg Traurig’s San Francisco office has grown considerably this past year because the firm has focused its efforts on adding key talent to the office,” added G. Michelle Ferreira, Managing Shareholder for the firm’s San Francisco office. “We are thrilled to add Tom to the office. Tom and Joel will help serve our clients’ needs in this important practice and Tom will complement the office’s expanding litigation practice.”
Holden has nearly 30 years of experience as a commercial litigator representing clients in insurance coverage and bad faith claims, including: advertising and personal injury, construction defect, directors and officers, pollution liability, and assault and battery.
“Greenberg Traurig’s global footprint, experience and resources, along with its commitment to delivering value to clients closely aligns with Tom and my practices and capabilities as well as with the expectations and needs of our clients,” Eads said. “We are excited to have the opportunity to bring this level of excellence to our clients and I am also happy to get the opportunity to work alongside Tom again at Greenberg Traurig.”
Holden has handled appeals in the California Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits. In addition to California, he has litigated cases in more than 15 states across the country.
Holden holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (1987) and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley (1982).
