ThreatAdvice Announces Enhancements, Reaches Milestone of 3500 Memberships

Co-founder and CEO, David Brasfield attributes the company’s growth to the increased functionality ThreatAdvice added in 2017 as well as an increased awareness by companies and organizations about the ever-present threats of cybersecurity and the need to educate employees on proper cyber hygiene in order to mitigate attacks.
One major enhancement ThreatAdvice added is mobile capability. The platform is now mobile responsive enabling members to take their coursework on the go from their smartphone or tablet. Account managers can also manage employee accounts, company information and reporting from these devices as well.
ThreatAdvice augmented its dashboard to include “My Threat Plan” where account managers can see grades on their organization’s cybersecurity preparedness. ThreatAdvice ranks company risk in different areas such as education & phishing as high, medium, or low.
Additional enhancements implemented in 2017 include improved phishing simulations for more accurate testing and better reporting, custom course management to allow clients to setup coursework that will work best for their employees, custom user management to allow members to setup user groups to assign role-based coursework and site notifications to encourage coursework completion.
Multiple new cybersecurity courses were added in 2017 including a module specifically designed for the healthcare industry.
ThreatAdvice also obtained CPE and CLE credits for its accounting and legal modules in the state of Alabama with plans to expand this certification geographically in 2018.
“ThreatAdvice has accomplished a great deal in the cybersecurity space in 2017, but we have even more exciting things planned for each quarter of 2018,” Brasfield said.
