Three Gardant-managed affordable assisted living communities were among eight assisted living communities nationally to be named recipients of a 2023 Silver Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living.
BOURBONNAIS, Ill., June 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Three Gardant-managed affordable assisted living communities were among eight assisted living communities nationally to be named recipients of a 2023 Silver Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living.
The distinction is the second of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Awards Program, which recognizes providers from across the United States that have demonstrated high quality outcomes for residents and staff.
The three Gardant-managed communities, all located in Illinois, are Heritage Woods of Freeport, Heritage Woods of Minooka, and Heritage Woods of Ottawa.

In 2022, Heritage Woods of McHenry, a Gardant-managed affordable assisted living community located in McHenry, Illinois, was the only assisted living community in Illinois and one of only three assisted living communities nationally to be honored with a Silver Award.
AHCA/NCAL announced on June 1 that 14 Gardant-managed communities had earned 2023 Bronze Quality Awards
In Illinois, the communities were Bowman Estates of Danville, Heritage Woods of Batavia, Heritage Woods of Dekalb, Heritage of Flora, Heritage Woods of Huntley, Heritage Woods of Manteno, Heritage Woods of Moline, Heritage Woods of Plainfield, Heritage Woods of Yorkville, John Evans Supportive Living of Pekin, and Montclare at Lawndale in Chicago.
In Indiana, the communities were Belvedere Senior Living of Merrillville, Evergreen Village of Bloomington; and Vivera Senior living of Columbus.
In the past four years, 52 Gardant-managed assisted living and memory care communities have been recognized with AHCA/NCAL Quality Awards.
