FALLS CHURCH, Va. (PRWEB) February 11, 2020
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), awarded Three Wire Systems a three-year, $30 million contract to provide IT maintenance support for the existing CA & Erwin Enterprise licenses.
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services processes and adjudicates all Medicare claims for U.S. citizens. The CA & Erwin solution is the underlying platform for data modeling tools. The solution has been in place within the agency for the past 15 years. With this award, CMS will extend its license rights through 2022.
Three Wire Systems, a veteran-owned technology company based outside of Washington, D.C., is known as a cutting-edge technology firm that helps America’s largest government agencies and companies navigate their most difficult IT problems, including cybersecurity, IT modernization and enterprise lifecycle management.
“Quality and accurate claims processing in the healthcare field is critically important, especially for our vulnerable populations relying on Medicare,” said Gregory Feldman, president of Three Wire Systems. “We strive to find the right solutions to maximize outcomes and reduce costs. As part of our work with CMS, our IT support team will maintain CMS’ data tools to ensure smooth operations and processing.”
Founded in 2006 by CEO and U.S. Navy veteran Dan Frank, Three Wire aspires to design technology to foster change. The company’s name originates from the difficult practice of Navy pilots aiming their planes’ tailhooks at the third of four wires attached to the flight deck of an aircraft carrier for the safest and most effective landing. The metaphor illustrates the company values of providing cost-effective and efficient solutions to its partner companies.
