On October 10th, Colombia will tangle with El Salvador at the home of the New York Red Bulls. A few days later diehard soccer fans will be treated to a double-header featuring Ecuador vs. El Salvador followed by Colombia vs. Canada on October 14th.
Colombia had a phenomenal showing at the 2014 World Cup and finished by losing to Brazil in the quarterfinal match. Some of their best known players include: James Rodriquez and Radamel Falcao Garcia. They are coached by Jose Pekerman who hails from Argentina.
Ecuador faced Switzerland, France and Honduras in Brazil this past summer and the team posted a win, draw and loss. Popular players include Cristhian Noboa and Luis Antonio Valencia.
El Salvador had a nice run in the recent Copa Centroamericana and will move on to participate in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Canada is will participate in the 2015 Gold Cup and well known players are Simeon Jackson and Atiba Hutchinson.
Red Bull Arena opened in 2010 after breaking ground back in 2006. The 25,000 seat venue is home of the New York Red Bulls from MLS and this venue is located on the Passaic River in Newark, New Jersey.
