AUSTIN, Texas, March 9, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tiff's Treats, the Austin, Texas-based original warm cookie delivery company, is expanding its Nashville-area presence with a new Cool Springs location in the McEwen Northside retail center at 4301 Aspen Grove in Franklin. A kickoff celebration Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., will benefit Best Buddies Tennessee and feature special guests the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders from 9 – 10:30 a.m.
Grand opening attendees should arrive early. The first 40 people in line at 9 a.m. will receive $100 Tiff's Treats gift cards; all others in line at 9 a.m. will receive $10 gift cards. Tiff's Treats will serve its most popular cookie flavors—chocolate chip and snickerdoodle—hot out of the oven for $5 per dozen, and will donate all sales (up to $5,000) to Best Buddies Tennessee. Customers can purchase up to six dozen cookies each. All attendees have the chance to win gift cards and prizes inserted in random cookie boxes, including the chance to win free cookies for a year.
"We're thrilled to dedicate the sales from our store opening to Best Buddies Tennessee, an amazing organization making a big impact, and looking forward to serving all of Cool Springs and the heart of downtown Franklin with warm, fresh cookie delivery," said Tiffany Chen, Tiff's Treats co-founder.
Best Buddies Tennessee offers one-to-one friendship, integrated employment and leadership development programs—positively impacting nearly 62,150 individuals with and without disabilities in Tennessee. The money raised at the store opening will send 3-5 Ambassadors to the annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference. The conference brings together students, advisors and community leaders from around the world for valuable opportunities to practice public speaking and gain the confidence needed to advocate for themselves, peers and Best Buddies in communities and workplaces. Grand opening attendees can get involved by bringing new spiral notebooks, mechanical pencils or ballpoint pens for Best Buddies Ambassadors.
The newest Tiff's Treats store is open as of today with a full menu of classic cookies and fudgy brownies available for warm delivery or in-store pickup. The store's regular business hours are 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. on weekends.
Tiff's Treats stores are cashless. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted at the grand opening.
About Tiff's Treats
In 1999, Tiffany Taylor accidentally stood up Leon Chen for a date. As an apology, she baked and delivered a batch of warm cookies, and the concept of warm cookie delivery was born. Tiff and Leon, just 19-year-old sophomores at The University of Texas at Austin at the time, opened Tiff's Treats with $20, a cell phone and a dream. Since then, the business has grown to 59 stores in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina, with more than 1,000 employees, baking more than 100 million cookies since the company started. The founders are now married and the business continues to grow, but Tiff's Treats has the same core mission: creating memorable moments through classic, baked-to-order cookies and specialty desserts from high-quality ingredients, and delivering them straight from the oven to the home or office, warm, in about an hour. Customers can order online, with the Tiff's Treats app or by phone, all supported by industry-leading technology and top-notch customer service. The charitably-minded company continually gives back. On top of hundreds of thousands of cookies per year donated to nonprofit organizations, each new store's grand opening benefits a local charity. To date, Tiff's Treats has donated over $200,000 to worthy causes through these events. To learn more, please visit http://www.cookiedelivery.com.
