This concludes a partnership, initiated in 2021, that saw the rapid establishment and acceleration of TiNDLE into the United States foodservice industry.

“Pioneering into foodservice is challenging but can work with a structured process and a nimble team, which is what ESA brings to new entrants into the channel so they can scale farther faster,” says ESA CEO Dimitra Rizzi.

Elohi Strategic Advisors (ESA) and Next Gen Foods announce today the conclusion of their commercial partnership, and of a successful chapter that brought TiNDLE – the less-than-two-year-old ‘ridiculously good’ chicken made from plants – to popularity in the United States.

ESA congratulates TiNDLE on their rapid development in the U.S. foodservice market, for their innovative spirit and continued focus on bringing delicious and sustainable plant-based chicken alternatives to tables around the world.

TiNDLE joins some of the most well-known and widely distributed plant-based products in the North American market as graduates of ESA’s Foundation© and Accelerated Market Penetration (AMP) © programs. ESA's Foundation program involves identification of product features and benefits to the industry, development of a unique foodservice selling proposition, assessment of pricing and trade program needs, plus a custom strategic sales and marketing roadmap to success. Designed to help companies navigate the maze of foodservice, these programs establish a solid strategy and execution plan to succeed in the channel. “Pioneering into foodservice is challenging but can work with a structured process and a nimble team, which is what ESA brings to new entrants into the channel so they can scale farther faster,” notes ESA CEO Dimitra Rizzi.

As an apprentice in ESA’s programs, TiNDLE achieved national distribution through a unique pre-market partnership with Dot Foods. With a solid distribution footprint in place, ESA guided TiNDLE to reach key decision makers through the work of ESA’s sales, marketing, culinary and support teams. Such efforts included direction, coordination and support for key industry events like IFMA’s President’s Conference, DOT Innovations, the National Restaurant Association Show and Restaurant Leadership Conference – plus digital communications and the development of sales materials, fulfillment and training. In less than one year, ESA saw TiNDLE on menus in more than 1,000 foodservice locations, including Project Pollo, Native Foods, Local Cantina, Craft & Crew and Veggie Grill.

Next Gen Foods is committed to further investment and growth in the U.S. and is currently expanding its own internal organization to include a full in-house arm dedicated to foodservice sales. This includes building out support functions within its existing team, as well as hiring for new positions soon. ESA’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Jared Umsted, will continue in his leadership role of TiNDLE’s U.S. foodservice sales and will be joining Next Gen Foods as part of this internal team development. Next Gen also recently named Chicago as their U.S. headquarters and established a new R&D and innovation center at The Hatchery.
