Tinnitus 911 Announces Support for Grandmothers Who Help Millions of Suffering Orphans

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Oct. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tinnitus 911 Orphan Awareness announced their support for Canadian grandmothers who are supporting millions of suffering orphans. Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers, a Canadian organization, recently held a Fabric and Yarn sale to fundraise for orphans and the grandmothers that care for them in Africa. The organization is part of the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers Campaign. The funds raised through the campaign provide medical care, supplies, food, HIV education, medical testing, housing, and counselling for the African grandmothers and the children they raise.

Grandmothers 4 Grandmothers received hundreds of meters of donated fabric, yarn, knitting needles, and more from community members and organizations. Meters of fabric were sold for as low as $1 a meter. Members of the organization relayed how happy they were to make a difference for millions of suffering people. Tinnitus 911 continued, "The Stephen Lewis Foundation has raised over $25 million so far through the Grandmothers Campaign. Hundreds of grandmothers who have taken on a caregiver role in Africa and the orphans they care for have benefitted from this campaign."
