Tommy Middaugh Provides Charitable Year in Review
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- Tommy Middaugh, Executive Vice President of Travel To Go knows how important it is for successful companies and individuals alike to give back to their local communities. Because he understands this importance, Middaugh has made it a priority to support charitable organizations in a several ways, such as volunteering in his personal time, and sponsoring a number of charity events along with Travel To Go, and 2014 was no different.
Tommy Middaugh has long been dedicated to assisting United States veterans and gets involved with several events and organizations each year to aid these veterans. Middaugh is an avid supporter of the Wounded Warriors project among a number of other organizations and charities. As a supporter of Wounded Warriors, Middaugh has been proud to help this organization as it pursues its ongoing mission to assist wounded veterans and their families and to raise awareness for these often overlooked heroes.
Middaugh’s commitment to veterans is also found in his volunteer work. Last December, he joined in on the Wreaths Across America event in Las Vegas. The event held in Las Vegas, along with similar events held in veteran cemeteries all over the United States each year, was held to honor the memories of fallen veterans. Middaugh was honored to take part in this event last year and spent the 12th of December with other individuals placing Christmas wreaths on the graves of American Heroes.
Additionally since 2012, Tommy Middaugh has been a proud sponsor of several charitable causes and events. One of these is the Bud Light Kern River Rock n’ Blues Fest, an event held yearly to raise money to aid the construction of the Bakersfield National Cemetery Memorial. The money raised at these events is being used to build a walkway where the loved ones of the fallen heroes who rest in this cemetery can remember their friends and family members. Another event that Middaugh happily sponsored in 2014 was the Indian Hills Music Fest. A portion of each ticket sale for this event was given to the Marine Riders Toys for Tots program to bring them joy with the Christmas season.
With 2015 just begun, Tommy Middaugh looks forward to another year of giving back and offering his time and resources to helping worthwhile organizations. He especially looks forward to another year of helping veterans and their families and honoring the memory of fallen heroes as well. He also hopes that other individuals will join him in the coming year.
