Los Angeles civil and workers’ rights attorney Toni Jaramilla, of A Professional Law Corporation, named to the Daily Journal’s Top 75 Labor & Employment Lawyers list.

Jaramilla was named to the Top Labor & Employment Lawyers list for the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal. For more than 24 years Jaramilla has practiced employment law exclusively. She has litigated hundreds of cases of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and unpaid overtime wages, resulting in millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts.
In addition to practicing employment law, Jaramilla is passionate about civil rights, and is an active #MeToo advocate. She is a frequent speaker at educational programs and radio shows and recognized as an employment law expert on various employment law topics, including legislation spurred by the #MeToo movement. She continues to work with the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and women’s rights organizations on several of these bills that were signed into law.
Jaramilla also recently testified at the State Capitol regarding Assembly Bill 9 (AB9), which gives victims of discrimination or harassment additional time to file a claim under California’s anti-harassment laws. Jaramilla has an active litigation practice in which she represents clients from low-wage earners to high-level executives across many industries. She litigates in both state and federal courts in claims of discrimination, sexual and racial harassment, disability accommodation, FMLA and CFRA leave law violations, wrongful termination and unpaid wages.
Jaramilla is a current member and past Chair of the California Employment Lawyers Association, California's largest and strongest employee rights advocate group of attorneys. She is also a past Chair and member of CELA's Diversity Outreach Committee, which establishes scholarships and fellowships to encourage women and those of multi-cultural backgrounds to practice employment law on behalf of workers.
